System requirements
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® XP / Vista
Additional Requirements: NET 2.0 Framework, XNA 3.0 support
Processor: 2.0 GHz Dual Core
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 40 MB
Video Card: DirectX® 9.0c compatible video card, Shader Model 3.0 required. 256 MB
Sound Card: DirectX® 9.0c compatible sound card
DirectX® Version: DirectX® 9.0c
Why are the system requirements so high, it’s a simple 2d platformer!
That’s mainly because of the ecosystem simulation, the whole game world is simulated at all times. It’s a central part of what I wanted to explore with the game and I can’t optimize much more.
Things are just weird when I start the game!
Try installing the XNA 3.0 redist (it’s small and lightweight)
There is no wind or background music!
Seems like updating the drivers for your sound card will solve this. Please give it a try!
What about gamepad support?!
Good point. Luckily for you I plan to do a patch later when things have settled down, hopefully I can hack it in.
I want some other setting for the screen resolution!
I’m working on that. You can also try to modify the file “Settings.xml” in the Content folder of the game.

I remember playing this game about 10 years ago and I love it. I played it at my friend’s, and I would like to get my own copy. I own a Steam account and I was going to buy it there…however, it says that the game is not available in my country (I live in Russia). Why? Is there any other way that I could buy it, if not on Steam?
June 30, 2014 at 6:00 am
Also tweeted you about this since I’m not sure if this support page is still used.
I just got the game on Steam for my Mac and get the following error (& game crash) when clicking on “Play Game”. I’ve tried re-installing, turning off Steam overlay, playing windowed and fullscreen, verifying game cache, etc.

Game’s running slowly, but I fixed it. Apparently doesn’t like being installed on non-boot drive.

I just wanted to add, This happens as soon as I run the exe (I immediately get a “has stopped running” and I reinstalled XNA and dotnet 4.5 that came with the program.
December 20, 2012 at 7:13 am
OK, I have no idea what it can be then, I haven’t seen this error before. If you can try to install it through Steam that usually solves it. If that’s not an option I don’t really know what to do. Googling “Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll” gives some possible solutions:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/programs-crash-error-fault-module-kernelbasedll/9fe5d2e7-79d0-42c1-b8dc-51ed8d70f749
It could also be the version of your OS. What version are you running, and is it x86 or 64 bit?
December 20, 2012 at 5:49 pm
I’m running 64 bit. I also ran as admin and tried running in compatibility. Unfortunately, I do not have the Steam version. The version via IGS had no installer and for some reason had a Mac OSX version as well (neither worked).
December 20, 2012 at 8:04 pm
OK, that’s weird with the Mac version since there isn’t any…
I don’t know what to do really. Either ask for a refund or try to get a Steam code from them (I have provided them with that but maybe you had to pay a certain amount to get it or something). I am working on a improved version for Linux/Mac/Windows so eventually that one will work a lot better on newer machines. I can’t really help you more with the current version, sorry about that.
February 1, 2011 at 1:53 pm
When I first downloaded your game it worked fine but now when I start it the guy is floating in the air and won’t fall to the ground and I can’t do anything.
February 1, 2011 at 5:40 pm
Sorry to hear that. Try reinstalling the game. If that doesn’t work, try updating to the latest version of “.NET framework” and “XNA Redistributable”. Hope it helps.
Erik
January 26, 2011 at 9:12 pm
Eric, I have no words to say how I like your game…
Im waiting for the linux version and I will pay you very well for that. Thanks for your work and good luck for your future projects! Regards, butti

Hi, I wonder is there any hope that blueberry garden will work with wine on linux system?
April 1, 2010 at 6:13 am
I tried it, but it won’t even install. The installer starts, and then has to download two files. Once they are downloaded, this error pops up:
“Setup has detected that the publisher of file
‘C:\windows\temp\VSD1488.tmp\DotNetFX\dotnetfx.exe’ cannot be verified.”
I wouldn’t really expect it to run, thought it might, but the first hurdle is getting it to even install.
Here’s the command line readout while the setup was running:

My bad – I forgot to restart…
Follow the procedure I’ve outlined below and that sorttbls.nlp error will go away and the game will run great :)
Idk what happened during the last “first time setup” of BGarden in Steam, but it messed up .NET somehow.
Now, I can see what the game’s like both with a home key and a decent machine to play it on.
I’d better not be disappointed after all this, Erik!!!
:p
February 2, 2010 at 7:04 pm
Okay, this is the procedure to try and sort out the sorttbls.nlp error:
(Whatever the game did, it totally screwed a few things… Not good – what’s weird is that I downloaded a pirate/cracked version to see if it worked and it does. Wonder if this is a Steam related error somehow?)
Step 1: Try add/remove programs to unload .NET Framework packs.
This was unsuccessful as the PC was throwing error message
Step 2: After some unsuccessful tries to reinstall .NET Framework packs, I ran across Aaron Stebner’s Weblog: http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2004/04/16/408856.aspx on this page I found The .NET Framework cleanup tool. You can download it here: http://astebner.sts.winisp.net/Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
Step 3: Install the .NET Cleanup Tool and run it.
Step 4: Download a new Framework installation file: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4…
Or 3.5 if you want.
Step 5: Install and run the new 2.0/3.5 Framework
Runs once, then messes up big time – Blue Screen of Death aaand – back to square one again :/
December 31, 2009 at 12:21 pm
Hey,
I want to purchase the game, but don’t want to open an account on steam. is ther any otehr possibility to buy this game?
thanx in advance.
January 22, 2010 at 10:30 pm
The demo download site “Box” says you are out of bandwidth. With all of the problems people have posted running the program, I don’t want to buy it until I can test out the demo on my computer. And I don’t want to sign up for Steam unless I know I want to buy the game. Is there any other way to download the demo?
January 23, 2010 at 12:16 pm
Download should work now.
December 21, 2009 at 6:09 am
Do you think it will run on a 1.6 ghz netbook at all? Its an Asus Eee PC901 and it has an Intel 945 video chipset…
December 21, 2009 at 9:53 am
No, I’m afraid not.
/Erik
August 30, 2009 at 1:59 am
:( I Launch Blueberry Gardens and then it instantly closes with a “Blueberry Gardens has stopped responding” message.
I WAY excceed the requirements.
with 6GB RAM, and over 2.0GHz processor.
I use Windows Vista Home Premium.
I don’t know why it won’t work!
August 30, 2009 at 6:37 pm
I suppose you fixed the issue?
August 21, 2009 at 2:33 am
Awwww man, I am missing 0.1 gH to play this. No wonder it’s so freaking laggy. Grr.
Really nice game though… congrats…
August 10, 2009 at 6:24 pm
I also forgot to mention that I’ve reinstalled the game as well. I also get this error message.
“The active render target and depth stencil surface must have the same pixel size and multisample type. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
August 10, 2009 at 6:20 pm
Hi, I got this game in the 30 dollar steam deal just yesterday, and this game seems to be the only one giving me trouble. I could only get 2-3 minutes of playtime at tops, but all I get now is framerate chops, and the character keeps staying afloat in the same spot in the beginning of the game. The game also freezes up on me constantly so I’m getting nowhere at all. The game looks beatiful, and sounds amazing. I’d appreciate some help.
Graphics Card: ATI mobility Radeon HD3650 with shader 3.0 support, and Direct X10 support.
Dedicated Graphics memory: 1GB
OS: Windows Vista Home edition
RAM:3GB
CPU:Dual Core at 2.00Ghz
I’ve downloaded the XNA 3.0 redist patch as well, and I still have these problems.
August 10, 2009 at 2:59 am
Hey, got this game off of Steam, but it says error and won’t open! My computer is pretty good when it comes to games. Is there a patch or something I could get?
August 10, 2009 at 8:08 am
That sucks… what error do you get? Have you tried re-install the game from Steam?
August 9, 2009 at 4:09 am
I bought the game from steam and when it starts up an error message appears saying: error loading “postprocessing/bloomextract”. The file was compiled using the wrong version of the XNA Framework.
How should I fix this
August 5, 2009 at 12:23 am
Hello!
I had the same problem as several people, namely that my happy character would get stuck in midair, but everything else worked fine. However, I found that this was due to me pressing the arrow key during flight; apparently, pressing the key is unnecessary, and when I stopped doing this, the game began working perfectly!
I hope this helps!
Thanks for the great game!
August 5, 2009 at 7:57 am
That was very interesting and helpful information, thank you!!!
July 28, 2009 at 12:31 am
Its a great disapointment that my computer wil not run this game, but seeing as it runs off of XNA would there ever be a possibility of me enjoying it as an Xbox 360 community game? Seeing as thats the only way I could play this, and because it might possibly expand the market for buyers is there a possibility of seeing this as any type of console download in the near future?
July 27, 2009 at 4:01 am
Hey, I downloaded the demo from steam, but when I boot it up, the main menu works PERFECTLY, but when I get to the game, my character just kind of stays there stuck in mid-air, and it will freeze for a minute, then unfreeze, then I can toggle him left or right, or fly over a bit, then it will freeze again. I have installed xnafx31_redist, but it still has the same problem… do I have to do something with the xnafx program after installing it?
July 27, 2009 at 7:04 am
Aw, sorry to hear that… what are the specs of your computer?
August 8, 2009 at 10:13 pm
I have the exact same problem. I think the problem is that I only have a single core processor. Would that be a likely cause of this problem?
August 8, 2009 at 10:27 pm
Also, after manually deleting and reinstalling XNA redistributable the game now crashes immediately on start-up.
July 20, 2009 at 9:21 pm
The simplicity and randomness of the map, along with the AI directed ecosystem, lends itself to player-created maps. Is a map editing add-on a future possibility?
July 20, 2009 at 10:32 pm
Yeah, I’m looking into how to do it… it will probably be something different from the main story of the game though.
July 17, 2009 at 5:30 pm
I had the “freezing” problem similar to Delaney and Tortimer: I could move the character for a few seconds, but then the screen would freeze and be non-responsive. Exiting the game took a while as well, and I never saw the WALK cue graphic.
This was completely resolved by installing the XNA 3.1 redistributable: http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?familyid=53867A2A-E249-4560-8011-98EB3E799EF2&displaylang=en
July 17, 2009 at 7:29 pm
Ok, thanks a lot for that information!!!
July 8, 2009 at 2:00 am
I feel kindof stupid buying a game I can’t play because like many laptops I don’t have a home key. Guess it will teach me to play a demo first.
July 8, 2009 at 8:44 am
Will fix in a patch really soon!!!
June 25, 2009 at 7:16 pm
I may have exploited my way through the game. I was able to fly upwards indefinitely without being under the influence of a blueberry, by rapidly alternating between left and right while flying.
Also, is there a jpg map of the game available? The first time I played through the game, it seemed the faucet was much higher than the series of platforms that form a rough line just to the right of the tower. But this last time I played, I was able to jump from just a little higher than that line of platforms, and with that jump, I was able to fly all the way to the right and turn off the faucet. The faucet seemed lower this time. My guess is that I was travelling upwards while flying (even without the use of the aforementioned exploit) and I suspect I was not supposed to be able to do that.
June 25, 2009 at 8:56 pm
Hmmmmmmmm… this sounds really weird actually. Rapid turning should make you go down the ground very quickly! Will try to think of what could be causing this but right now I’m clueless :S
June 25, 2009 at 9:11 pm
I have checked, and it appears I can reproduce the bug reliably. I didn’t notice this before, but it only works when I hold down the up arrow key while flying.
So, to reiterate, here’s the bug. I can lift myself to any altitude I’d like (albeit somewhat slowly) by jumping, then hitting space to fly, then, while holding down the up arrow key, rapidly turning left and right repeatedly.
Doing this I was able to fly directly from the ground level (where you start the game) to the the second level above this to the right, where there is a brown bridge plank. (Sorry, hard to describe locations without pictures!)
June 25, 2009 at 9:19 pm
Here’s a screenshot of me after I turned off the water faucet without having towered even one object. Took about three or four minutes to fly up there I think. :D
http://www.igradeyourpaper.com/exploit.jpg
June 27, 2009 at 1:24 pm
Ok, will look into this… seems like too good of a cheat!
July 17, 2009 at 4:59 pm
I have been able to reproduce this bug as well.
June 22, 2009 at 7:27 pm
i get the following error when trying to launch blueberry garden… any help would be great… thanks, drew

June 19, 2009 at 6:09 pm
Is there any way to save a game?
June 20, 2009 at 8:51 am
Not at the moment :/
June 17, 2009 at 5:05 pm
Runs terrible. On my notebook(i know, notebooks aren’t quite gaming machines) with a 2Ghz AMD Turion X2, 3GB of RAM and ATI 3200 i don’t think it runs with more than 5 frames per second. It also takes about 600MB of RAM and 50% CPU power, Task Manager tells me. I have the Steam demo version.
Too bad, it really looked interesting.
June 17, 2009 at 6:04 pm
Turning on V-Sync solved it. Beautiful music, btw.
June 19, 2009 at 4:44 pm
ok, nice
June 17, 2009 at 7:08 am
been wanting to try this game, but my computer just sucks… :( my bf keeps telling me i should play and i keep telling him it wont work on my laptop… no fair. *crys* 8*(
June 17, 2009 at 7:26 am
Saaad :(
Maybe you know someone with a better computer..?
June 14, 2009 at 10:19 pm
Blueberry Garden is an average game from an alternate reality in which game design had not been domesticated and hyper structured over the years, but rather broken down so that it could be set free. It’s a wonderfully terrible game (and I loved it!).
I loved being lulled into a false sense of security, only to be completely swept off my feet by the superb ending of ‘act 1’ (the first playthrough). The second ending is not as good, unfortunately, but this game is a gem nontheless.
I work as a game designer in Montreal and can only respect and admire the auteur for having the balls to make Blueberry Garden. I’ll be recommending it to anything that has ears.
June 14, 2009 at 9:13 pm
I really should have looked at the requirements before I bought the game. Stupid mistake there, I thought I was just a simple platformer, didn’t realize that EVERYTHING was simulated therefor it eats up all my CPU.
I only have a single core, and to get a dual I need a whole new motherboard. Dammit.
But the 5$ was still spent wonderfully. :D
June 14, 2009 at 9:22 pm
Oh, too bad :(
Maybe you can play it at a friends computer?
June 13, 2009 at 10:54 pm
Can you publish an update that supports 1900×1200 resolutions?
I manually updated the settings.xml file for 1900×1200 full screen, but the border that frames the screen isn’t wide enough and leaves a 100 pixel (or so) vertical gap down the right side of the screen.
Or maybe create an updated Border.xnb (assuming that’s the file that frames the window) and publish a download link.
Cheers!
::k::
June 14, 2009 at 4:56 pm
I will look into it. That’s huuuuuge btw :P
(I usually play it at 1024 x 768, hehe)
June 13, 2009 at 7:20 pm
I cannot get BG to run — I get this error:

June 15, 2009 at 11:59 am
Try reinstalling, seems like some file is missing.
June 16, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Have reinstalled 3 times, the error is consistent.
June 16, 2009 at 1:28 pm
Ok, I hear you.
Hmmmm, I will try to look into this asap. If anyone else reading this is having the same problem, please tell me!
Also, maybe you could give me some info on your hardware and OS?
January 4, 2010 at 2:54 pm
I had exactly the same problem and I was getting the same error each time I tried to run the game. The solution is odd: I had to plug in my speakers again, which I unplugged for a new year’s eve party. Since then Blueberry Garden runs perfectly ;-)
February 19, 2018 at 3:06 am
Erik,
I just bought the game today and I’m getting the same error. I came across this thread and plugged in the headphones and the game starts OK. Please, remove checking the audio device upon launching the game or provide some option to remove it. I usually use Bluetooth and not the 3.5mm Jack headphones.
June 13, 2009 at 8:35 am
Hi,
Game ran fine the first time I used it – but after an unexpected reboot due to a background application (thanks Vista!) it no longer starts.
I get an error: “Root element is missing. Sorry for the inconvenience”. After this the application simply exits.
Any clues?
June 13, 2009 at 9:40 am
Ehhh, maybe try to re-install?
June 13, 2009 at 10:02 am
It seems my settings.xml file was somehow blanked. I added a tag and then kept running the game to find out what part of the file was broken.
All good now!
June 13, 2009 at 1:58 am
Hi Erik, great game!
I just downloaded it, and I’m loving the vibe. Unfortunately, I keep on running into this one bug.
At a random point in the game, the character becomes stuck in midair. I can still control him (he faces left and right, and I can toggle flying) but he’s stuck. This seems to occur during CPU-intensive intervals as well as when the first music track is played. I haven’t been able to play for more than a few minutes before I encounter this error.
Truly original game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
June 16, 2009 at 1:31 pm
Truly weird. Might just be a sign of not-powerful-enough-computer but it sounds a bit stranger actually. Does the game run smoothly the rest of the time?
June 17, 2009 at 1:15 am
Yeah, other than that it runs fine.
June 12, 2009 at 2:07 pm
While loading of the game i get the following error:
Error:System.IO.FileNotFoundException in System.String GetResourceFromDefault(System.String)
Could not load file or assembly ‘sorttbls.nlp’ or one of it’s dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Sorry for the inconvenience.
System spec:

nvidia 8600m gt
I’ve not seen this game yet, but it sounds cool. I sure would like to play it.
Thank You
June 15, 2009 at 11:57 am
Eh, hard to know… maybe try reinstalling the game?
Also make sure you have the “XNA 3.0 redist” properly installed.
June 16, 2009 at 1:27 pm
I’ve un-installed and re-installed several times before I came to this blog. I have also “properly” installed XNA 3.0 redist before I came to this blog.
Thank you for the support. I’ll be watching out for more games from Erik Svendang!!!
June 16, 2009 at 1:33 pm
Ok, I’m afraid I can’t help you more on this one :/
If someone else gets the same error, please tell me!
February 2, 2010 at 6:52 pm
I have this same error.
On my laptop, which barely runs this game, it works okay (except the speed/lag).
That’s XP sp2, latest updates aside from that.
My XP sp3 machine, all bells and whistles – won’t run this game citing that error as why.
I figured it was to do with .NET, so I’ve tried fixing that. No luck.
Several people I’ve spoken with on Steam have also reported having this issue with XP sp3 running on a decent PC.
You’re starting to get some real bad press because of this, man – a lot of people seem to have given up hope that it’ll be fixed.
I’m just gonna keep on trying. :)
June 12, 2009 at 10:58 am
Hi
I just bought the game from steam, and when i start the game i get an error.
Here´s the message:
Error:System.ArgumentException in Void CreateTexture( Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Graphics.GraphicsDevice, Int32…. )
The device does not support creating a texture of the given format with the given textureUsage.
Parameternamn: format
I meet all the system requirements.
June 12, 2009 at 11:59 am
Hmmmm, seems like an error with your graphics card. What model do you have?
June 12, 2009 at 12:03 pm
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 256mb DDR3
June 15, 2009 at 11:55 am
Hmmm, looking at the specs for that card and it *should* certainly not be a problem. Try updating your drivers and DirectX / XNA 3.0 redist if you haven’t already. Apart from that I currently have no idea what it can be, sorry. Will tell you if I figure it out!
June 11, 2009 at 10:42 pm
Installed the demo. When I launch it, it crashes during initialization. (Over and over.) So I used the Steam menu to “delete local content.” The entry remains on the list of installed games, no matter how often I delete it. Attempting to re-run the game, I get the message “The game is currently unavailable.” So I attempted to reinstall the game, and no action is taken whatsoever. I’d like to at least get the demo out of my list of active games.
June 11, 2009 at 10:46 pm
Hmm, sounds like a Steam error, I have no control over their client whatsoever :/
June 11, 2009 at 10:42 pm
This is a really interesting game.
However I am experiencing a problem with the sound. There is no music in the title menu, nor in the game itself.
I have followed the suggestion to update the drivers for my sound card, however this did not help.
I am using Windows Vista, and my sound card is Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE. Blueberry Garden is the only modern game with which I have experienced problems with the sound (I have only had problems with a few pre-Vista games before).
Best Regards,
Nisse
June 11, 2009 at 10:45 pm
Hmmm, that’s disturbing. Good to know that it’s still a problem, will look into it more…
June 11, 2009 at 8:21 pm
Same problem here as tortimer same level of processor same amount of ram and a geforce 8600gt any ideas on why it keeps hanging?
Hope you can help?
June 11, 2009 at 8:27 pm
Hmm, can you give me some information on your system?

Hi!
When i start the game I get to when the “player” spawns but can’t do anything because it’s lagging to the point where, after about 2 seconds, it hangs.
The only system requirement that I don’t meet is the Dual Core Processor.
System
Pentium 4 3GHz Hyperthreading
2GB Ram
Geforce 6800 256MB DX9.0c Shader Model 3.0
The log just says:
06/11/2009 18:50:08 Game started.
06/11/2009 18:50:08 Current culture:
06/11/2009 18:50:33 Trying to load Content/save4.xml
06/11/2009 18:50:36 Loading finished!
06/11/2009 18:50:41 Player teleported home.
06/11/2009 18:51:18 Game exited.
Is this because I don’t have a Dual Core? Or should I dig deeper?

Nevermind, I poked around in the Blueberry Garden folder, and started the “xnafx30_redist.msi” (it didn’t seem to install properly when I first started the game) in support and after a repair the game works fine.
I look forward to play it!

Another update.
Sometimes it works sometimes the “avatar” just hangs in the air and everything starts to lag as soon as I press a directional key.
And when it does work it starts to act the same way after a while anyway.
Is it because of my system?
June 12, 2009 at 8:31 am
Probably yeah… :/
June 13, 2009 at 8:36 pm
Doh!
June 11, 2009 at 3:48 pm
It crashed once, saying:
“Error:System.NullReferenceException in Void checkForGround()
Object reference not set to an instance of object. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
Seemingly randomly — it only happened once but I figured I should report it :)
Also, is there an alternate key to press for ‘home’? I don’t have a ‘home’ key.
June 11, 2009 at 3:53 pm
Oh, that’s terrible :/
Thanks for telling me.
About the ‘home’ key — I should have added some alternative there I realize now. Unfortuneately there isn’t any at the moment, sorry!

I also got this error message. I’m playing the demo on steam. I had just put the sand timer on the dice and was flying off to the right when this happened.
June 12, 2009 at 8:30 am
Ok, :S
Will try to patch this asap.
SORRY!
June 15, 2009 at 1:58 pm
I ran into this error once as well. It happened when I teleported using the Home key while I was sliding down a slope.
June 13, 2009 at 9:13 am
Same here. I am having trouble as I have no home key.
June 18, 2009 at 10:51 pm
I also am seeing the checkForGround() error at different times while playing the game, but it seems random (happening different times, sometimes not at all). This was purchased through Steam as well — an update would be appreciated!
My daughters and I enjoy the game, it’s fun :)
June 19, 2009 at 4:37 pm
Ya, will definitely try to fix this in an upcoming patch…
June 11, 2009 at 9:06 am
Is there any way i could start it on lower resulution?
btw I had this problem of the charter stuck in the air but when I changed my resulotion’s computer to higher than the game’s resulution it worked perfectly

June 12, 2009 at 9:51 am
You can use a program called xpadder. See my previous comment
June 11, 2009 at 12:48 am
Sorry, I’m an idiot. Trying the demo now. Also, grr steam.
June 11, 2009 at 12:26 am
A demo, perhaps? I kind of doubt my computer can handle it, but I’d be all over it if there was a demo to test the requirements with.
June 11, 2009 at 12:03 am
Great game but, no gamepad support?
…I think that i’m starting to have carpal tunnel syndrome, lol!
June 12, 2009 at 8:32 am
Use xpadder

Erik, I fixed it by reinstalling the XNA framework.
Thanks though! Im off to play the game :D
June 10, 2009 at 9:59 pm
Oh, great!!!
June 10, 2009 at 9:33 pm
I just reinstalled it, same thing.
So I set up the video options (tried different ones too) and go into the game. I hear the ‘pop’ of spawning, I fall down a little onto the level and I can move etc. One second later I spawn again. this repeats itself as the screen gets whiter until I cannot see much – all the while its still ‘pop’ respawn over and over again.
June 10, 2009 at 9:41 pm
That’s truly weird. I will obviously look into this but a solution might take some time to come up with I’m afraid. So far no one else have had the same problem, must be something special with your machine I guess. Sorry!
December 15, 2012 at 9:55 pm
I’m also having the same problem, did anyone ever come up with a solution? Just bought it recently on indiegamestand, entered the steam key and installed it. Every time I start a new game, the guy drops to the ground; a second later, there’s a popping noise and he respawns again. It just keeps repeating this as the screen gets blurrier and blurrier, I can move him around and what not but he respawns every 2-3 seconds.
December 15, 2012 at 11:20 pm
No, I never solved it I’m afraid :/ There will be a new version eventually (that you will get access to) but for now the only thing is to try it on another machine, I’m afraid. Or ask for a refund. Sorry!
June 10, 2009 at 9:26 pm
I have over the required spec but i start the game and I keep respawning and the screen gets whiter until i cannot see. help?
June 10, 2009 at 9:30 pm
That’s something I’ve never heard of, very strange. If you can give any more details on the problem that would be very helpful.
June 11, 2009 at 7:00 am
Hi Erik — glad you’ve gotten over the Steam problems! I have the same problem that fraggdya does.
After load, the camera pans down, the avatar *pops* into existence, then after about a second immediately respawns. Each time the screen blooms a little bit brighter.
I was about to start the game a third time and write down more details, but couldn’t reproduce the problem. The only thing I did differently that time was accidentally start two instances of the game. Now I can’t reproduce it at all and can play fine.
Nothing in the log file.

good morning, do u read us?
i take (:S) it like…ur thinking about?
thanks another time
June 10, 2009 at 8:15 pm
Hey Erik,
I purchased and downloaded Blueberry Garden without looking at the system requirements (my fault, i know). My system is up to par except it has only a 1.86GHz processor. The game starts, but as soon as I try to move the bowlercapman, it freezes.
Should I just give up? Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks for any help possible,
Connor
June 11, 2009 at 6:33 am
I’m afraid there is no way it will work actually… :/
Maybe go play it at a friends computer, it doesn’t take a very long time to beat.
June 12, 2009 at 6:03 pm
Okay, thanks Erik!
June 10, 2009 at 12:19 pm
Hi, Your game looks great! Please oh Please tell me you’re making it available on the Mac, or iPhone??
Thanks
June 10, 2009 at 1:41 pm
Will tell you, but please don’t hold your breath. Any future games will be on more platforms though!
June 10, 2009 at 11:06 pm
I just got home. Trying to register with Steam to get it, no luck. It creates my account, I get no email, and it won’t let me in! ARghhh!!
Is there a stand-alone version?
From what I saw on the video, this game would KILL on iPod and iPhone.
June 10, 2009 at 11:08 pm
Ok, Steam finally let me in. Purchasing now :)
June 8, 2009 at 9:25 pm
The game is not on Steam, when will it be ready? The countdown timer has already ran past.
June 10, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Very soon.
June 11, 2009 at 10:02 pm
