Pixel Cave Adventures

Testing Pixel Cave Adventures The Wall Controller

Playtesting with Emil Berner and Mårten Brüggemann.

About

Solo project, October 2007.

This game is designed to be played inside a Virtual Reality cave. The player controls a small character who can walk around at the four screens of the cave. At anytime the character can teleport to the position at the exact opposite side of the cave. The goal is to find the exit point in this maze-like world.

The pulsating light from the pixels, the claustrophobic feeling of standing inside the small cave and the frequent turning of your body makes Pixel Cave Adventures an unique experience in many ways.

I want to play the game!

Solutions:

  1. Visit the University of Skövde.
  2. Buy your own Virtual Reality cave, then contact me and I will give you the game and instructions on how to set it up…
